Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles



The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) are a popular superhero team created in 1984 by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. They began as a comic-book parody but quickly grew into a global as a franchise spanning cartoons, movies, toys, and video games.

🐢 Who Are the Turtles?

They are four mutant turtles trained in ninja cartoon by their rat sensei, Master Splinter. Each has a unique personality, weapon, and color:

  • Leonardo (Blue): The disciplined leader; uses katanas. Calm, responsible, and strategic.
  • Raphael (Red): The tough, rebellious one; uses sais. Strong, emotional, and protective.
  • Donatello (Purple): The tech genius; uses a bo staff. Smart, inventive, and nerdy.
  • Michelangelo (Orange): The fun-loving joker; uses nunchaku. Easygoing, creative, and energetic.

🐀 Master Splinter

Originally a human ninja master in some versions (Hamato Yoshi) or just his pet rat in others. After being exposed to mutagen, he becomes human-sized and trains the turtles.

🧪 Origin

The turtles became mutated after coming into contact with a mysterious substance called mutagen or ooze. They grow into humanoid turtles and are raised in the sewers of New York City.

 

🦸‍♂️ Main Allies

  • April O’Neil: A brave reporter/scientist who helps the turtles.
  • Casey Jones: A masked vigilante with sports equipment weapons.

🦹‍♂️ Main Villains

  • Shredder (Oroku Saki): The turtles’ arch-enemy and leader of the Foot Clan.
  • Krang: A brain-like alien from Dimension X.
  • Bebop & Rocksteady: Mutant henchmen, usually a warthog and rhinoceros.
